Hi, I'm Judy.
The heart & soul behind Weddings by Phoebe.
I am a wife, mother, grandma, Harley rider, woman of faith, and certified Minister with a Masters in Biblical Studies.
My journey has not been typical, but that’s the beautiful thing. No one’s journey is.
You may be wondering, why Phoebe?
Growing up on a rural farm, with a hard working [and surly] father, he often referred to me as Phoebe. In all those years I never requested an explanation, and likewise, no explanation was given. Most definitely a sign of the time. My father, for reasons unknown, called me Phoebe all throughout my childhood.
Decades later as I strengthened my spirituality and relationship with God, I learned that in Romans 16:1-2 Phoebe was known as a servant and a helper. Phoebe helped support Paul’s Ministry as she delivered Paul’s letter from Corinth to Rome.
It was then I found comfort in my nickname, Phoebe. What I would do to sit down with my father and ask why he adopted that name for me so many years ago.

Writing
Everyone’s journey is undoubtedly unique. Legacy writing entails capturing memories, values, stories, thoughts and wishes into words to be shared with family and friends for generations to come. Nearing the end of life is challenging for all involved. As a trained Legacy Writer I meet with your loved one and most importantly listen. I listen and document the ‘intangible’ memories they wish to share and bundle them up in a memorable gift for family and friends.
